As the labor movement goes into the 21st Century the Brewery Workers
will be in the forefront for fighting for social and economic justice for all of its members.

The Union will continue to have fierce batles to protect Medicare,Social Security,
Education,Worker's rights,Fair Trade and to protect Pension benefits for all
working people.

As the Union and its members approach the 2007 Elections we must stand up
for working families.Local 9's active and retired members are the key to our
electoral success in the year 2007.We will be calling upon our membership to
volunteer to talk to our own members about issues in the work place, helping
in the voter registration drives, manning phone banks and working door to door
carrying our Union's messages. We will electing a new President of the United States
a U.S. Senator and our Congressional delegates from Wisconsin, as well as
state and local elections.

Collective bargaining and negotiating a fair contract for everybody is in the
forefront of the labor Movement, but if we dont protect our political rights
and support people who support us,working men and women,we will
surely lose those benefits in the hall of congress and the halls of the Govn't.

If we look back in history, the Brewing industry was voted out of
existance by the congress and senate of the United States back at the turn
of the 20th century,so we must REGISTER TO VOTE,EDUCATE OUR SELVES
AND OUR CO-WORKERS AND THEN ON ELECTION DAY,GET OUT AND
VOTE,BECAUSE IF YOU DONT VOTE-YOUR VOTE WONT COUNT.

Register at the Union office for the V-Cap checkoff so we can support our
friends in government who support our issues. You also will be eligible to
WIN A NEW CAR AND A TRIP TO WASHINGTON D.C.FOR THE
NATIONAL CAP CONFERENCE.
